Who we are
SkirtingMatch (skirtingmatch.co.uk) matches and mills skirting and architrave. For anything about your data, email hello@skirtingmatch.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Photos and traces of your moulding. When you scan or trace a board, the photo and the measurements we read from it are stored so we can match your profile, check the result, and improve how accurately the scanner reads boards.
- Order details. Your name, email, phone number and postal address when you order, post a sample or ask for a bespoke cutter — used to take payment, make and deliver your order, create postage labels and email you about it.
- Site usage, only if you agree. With your consent, Google Analytics records which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. We never send your name, email, order reference or photos to it.
Our lawful bases are performing a contract with you (orders, samples, matching), our legitimate interest in keeping the scanner accurate, and your consent (analytics).
Who processes it for us
- Stripe — card payments
- Supabase (via Lovable Cloud) — our database and private photo storage
- Sendcloud and Royal Mail — postage labels and delivery
- Resend and Zoho — sending and receiving email
- Google Analytics — site usage, only with your consent
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them to fulfil your order and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Scan photos are kept while they are useful for matching and improving the scanner — ask us and we will delete yours.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time — email hello@skirtingmatch.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
Essential browser storage keeps your basket, scan and cookie choice working and needs no consent. Google Analytics cookies (named _ga…) are only set if you accept them, and are removed if you change your mind.
