Post us a sample.
Post it. Mill it.
£9 gets you a pre-paid, tracked postage label — on your phone in seconds, no printer needed. When your offcut arrives we'll tell you which of our 500 library knives it is. And if we don't hold it, we'll grind it for you. Your £9 is credited against the order.
Already scanned? Your scan is attached automatically so we can verify the offcut against it.
We name it
Matched to one of the 500 knives in our library — order it by the metre the same day.
Or we make it
No match? We grind a knife to your exact section within 7 days of your sample arriving. The £9 comes off either way.
What to post
One envelope, one hand-width of board
It must fit a large-letter envelope: no thicker than 25mm, no heavier than 750g. A 10cm offcut of any board fits — a hand-width is all the knife needs. Please don't send long lengths; they'll be refused at the counter.
How to post your sample
Cut a short offcut — 10cm long, full height, any condition.
Put it in a large-letter envelope — under 25mm thick, under 750g.
Write your reference on the back of the offcut in pen — it's how we marry it to your scan the moment it lands.
Show the QR at any Post Office. They print the label — you need nothing else.
Tracked to our workshop. Bespoke knives are ground within 7 days of your sample arriving.
